Transition back to Normal (COVID-19)

Updated: May 17, 2020

May 16, 2020 - 7:00am

Temple continues to hold the safety of you as our highest responsibility.

That being said, Temple is beginning to draft plans for transitioning back to physical services.

Sunday, May 17, services will still be taking place online via Facebook, YouTube, and our website. The Temple Online experience continues to be the best way to catch all content from Temple.

On Sunday, May 24, our services will also be streamed online via Facebook, YouTube, and our website. After the service concludes, Temple will present a Memorial Day walkthrough at our Selma Location. The walkthrough will host several tributes to branches of our military while honoring fallen military veterans. We invite the entire community to attend this breath-taking experience from 12pm to 5pm.

On Sunday, May 31, Temple will be hosting an outdoor Comeback Service. Starting at 10am, Temple will host an outdoor elaborate service where the entire Temple Family can gather for one service. The outdoor Comeback Service will be held at our new property, located at 190 Campground Rd, Selma, NC 27576. Temple Staff will be working to ensure your safety and health while monitoring CDC guidelines during this service.

On Sunday, June 7, Temple will begin hosting multiple services back inside our facilities. Temple will be hosting multiple services to allow for our family to spread across services, allowing for better social distancing. Service times will be available soon, after more guidance from our local and state government comes in. Our staff will also be monitoring CDC guidelines during these services.

Details about other services that take place during a normal week, including Celebrate Recovery, Temple Kids, and TSM, will be forthcoming and will also depend on information from our local and state governments.

Temple is working hard to get back to normal services, but we also continue to hold the well-being of our family as the highest priority. This plan is the most current and is subject to change depending on the direction of our local and state government.

Temple is, and has always been, a place for everyone. This plan allows for the best way for everyone to come back together in the safest way possible.

The staff at Temple are looking forward to gathering with you and worshipping with you again very soon. Until we are able to gather again, please remember to stay, #TempleStrong.
